Thirsty Thursday: Do you ever just look at the hills?

What makes you look at the hills? Is it the grasses or the trees? Is it the details that most people pass by or the views that most people never see? Most of us, myself included, just pass these things by day in and day out with little to no thought; but, upon looking back at old pictures, we should all take more time to appreciate them. Our busy days shouldn't really be that busy. We're only here in passing anyways. Sometimes, we should just stop and take in the beauty that's around us. Take it all it. Because if we don't, it (or we) might be gone tomorrow.

Massey Monday: View from 1800'

Massey loves to go for a run in Toro Park, mainly because she knows that it will generally be a long one. One of my favorite views in all of Monterey County is from the top of the infamous Sh*t Hill, right next to the 1,800' sign post marking Ollason Peak. On this lovely spring day a few months back, Massey liked the view, too.

Thirsty Thursday: An Adventure

Another weekend is near and another adventure is scheduled. I'm not sure where we're going yet, but here are some shots from a previous adventure (or hike). Depending on the amount of homework and other work we have this weekend, we may be heading south to SLO for some vino and other exploring. A break from the normal is definitely needed. I know the Mas (whom is resting near me as I write this) will be up for it!

Massey Monday: Happy

A touch of blue, a bit of green and yellow, and a little bit of Massey. Now that's one happy puppy. Not a bad way to start this Monday!

Massey Monday: Just Another Day Hike

This is a continuation of last week's Thirsty Thursday. Massey enjoyed the 8 mile hike but was always looking away from me (at least mostly) so I didn't get to many shots of her running at me or the smile she had on her face (I assure you that she was smiling the entire hike). I did get a shot of her running to see her best friend with her "Big Paws" :-) .
