Massey Monday: Happy Mas!
With everything that is horrible in this world, it's so nice to see a happy Massey! Pure joy. . . makes you feel better (or at least, it makes me feel better).
Massey Monday: Hot on the Trail
Massey Monday: Look at My Pretty Ears
Sometimes, when I'm getting my picture taken, I like them to just see the pretty ear fur I have!
Massey Monday: Tormented
The birds just sit up there, tormenting me. I want to chase them.
Massey Monday: A Little Grass...
Makes the bone taste better.
Massey Monday: Loves to Run
I swear she has a smile on her face when she's at full speed.
Massey Monday: On Point
Pointing like a good bird dog.
Massey Monday: Massey's Couch
Massey doesn't usually lay on the couch. . . well at least not too terribly much. However, with Beth gone and me doing other things, she took advantage of the space. The couch now belongs to her.
Massey Monday: Always on Watch
She just stood above me the whole time I was shooting the sunset. . . just kept watch!
Massey Monday: Massey Kisses
One more shot of good friends!
Massey Monday: Securing the Perimeter
Every time we go backpacking, we set up camp and the Mas is required to secure the perimeter. She's pretty protective of our campsite once it's established. I'd be scared if I were a stranger approaching our campsite. She even points out insecure areas from time to time.
Massey Monday: Friends
For ever and for always. . . Beth & Massey.
Massey Monday: Trekking
My speciality. . . trekking in the mountains.
Massey Monday: Locked Up
Massey locked up in a bike rack while I went exploring the streets Portland. Don't worry, she had a great view of the squirrels!
Okay, so I actually didn't leave her, but she was definitely content to just stand there for about 10 min while I took a few shots of her.
Massey Monday: My Shoes!
I'm not sure of my new shoes. I kind of like them. They are red. Well, I really only like them when I'm running over sharp rocks...or a distance of less than a mile or so. Anything over a mile, or about a mile and a half, I'll just sit down in the middle of the trail and refuse to move until someone helps me take them off. I mean, come on, a mile, that's a long way!
Massey Monday: Keeping Watch
When we're backpacking she's got our back.
Massey Monday: Princess
Massey Monday: Beach Run
Massey loves her runs at the beach.
Massey Monday: Watch Dog
Massey's poor little paws got a little beat up during our last backpacking trip in the Sierra. So while photographing the final sunrise of the trip, the dog who normally runs all over this place in a slightly ADD manner (bird, oooh chimpmunk, oooh pika, oooh there's that bird again, etc) was quite content to relax in the comfy soft dirt next to me. Of course, she was still on alert, just a more sedentary alert. She always has our backs.
