Yes, that's right, I watch the birds from inside the house. Constant vigilance!

Massey Monday: Surveying
There are so many photos of the Mas...probably too many. I think we have some great shots of her, from closeups to happy running photographs. I'm not sure why I like this one. Maybe it's her look or maybe it's her smile. Either way, one of my favorites.
Massey Monday: Happy
A touch of blue, a bit of green and yellow, and a little bit of Massey. Now that's one happy puppy. Not a bad way to start this Monday!
Massey Monday: Running Through the Lupines
We liked the lupines...we thought they were gorgeous. But, Massey, she may have enjoyed them more. Or maybe she just enjoyed running around at full speed for 2 straight hours. Tough to tell.
Massey Monday: Guard Duty
Guard duty is serious business . . . especially from the 6 foot LoveSac I get to relax in all the time. Sometimes, it even requires me to stand up and look out! I will do my full duty and protect this house and my people.

Massey Monday: Just Another Day Hike
This is a continuation of last week's Thirsty Thursday. Massey enjoyed the 8 mile hike but was always looking away from me (at least mostly) so I didn't get to many shots of her running at me or the smile she had on her face (I assure you that she was smiling the entire hike). I did get a shot of her running to see her best friend with her "Big Paws" :-) .
Massey Monday: Top of the World
Massey Monday: Poppies, Puppy, Pacific
I suppose she's not really a puppy anymore, but dog ruined my alliteration scheme.
Massey Monday: Smiles
Yep, Massey smiles when she's out exploring. She seems to smile even bigger when she gets to explore a new trail.
Massey Monday: Another Ord Run
Another Monday, another Massey run at Ft. Ord. Just an out and back near Anza. Again, there wasn't much time for a full run. Instead it was just me with the camera and the Mas chasing the birds! Good times!
Massey Monday: Nap Like You Mean It
Massey Monday: Just a Short Run
Most times we (sometimes this is me and Massey or me, the Mas, and Beth) go for fairly long runs...somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-miles-ish. But, not this time. Massey and I had no time for a standard run. Instead, I somehow found time to sneak away from work with some sunlight left. Beth had left her in the backyard for the afternoon and I rushed home, came in through the front door, grabbed a camera, and the Mas. Off to the Fort Ord trails. She knew that time was fleeting and "awwowoww'd" the entire 5 minute drive to the trailhead. Once there, off she went. I think we only went (I walked, she sprinted) about a mile or so up the trail (about 20 min). These are all the shots from the short hike. Who could not go out with the Mas and just be happy. I think she's smiling in every shot!

Massey Monday: Attentive
I bet there are birds outside the window.
Massey Monday: Sunbeam
Massey loves sunny Saturday mornings. The sunlight filters in the backdoor and Terry makes sure her bed scoots around to maximize sunbeam exposure. He asks if the bed is in the right spot, too, just to be sure his princess is happy.
Massey Monday: The Nose
I feel like this should be some sort of vintage Hitchcock movie poster, with red blood drippy letters above and below that adorable little nose.
Massey Monday: Her Domain
She likes to pretend like she's important when she sits in the Sac.
Massey Monday: Sprinter
Massey Monday: Fun in the Snow
Massey loves a day in the snow.
