I don't have any pictures of Massey from this weekend. We ran almost 20 miles in her backyard (Ft. Ord). So here's a few from another run just so you can get the idea of what her weekend was like!

Massey Monday: Me and Mas
While Beth was out touring the world, the Mas and I decided to head up to Chico, CA for a few hikes. In retrospect, this was not one of our brightest ideas. Who knew that Chico was crazy hot during the summer? I mean seriously, why would it be that hot! It's not the middle of summer or anything like that. Anyways, we made the best of it and hiked as much as we could. We did 'sally' out and head back a day early to cooler weather. But before heading back, we both hammed the camera for some self portraits. It was definitely Mas' idea not to look at the camera.

Yesterday we ran Soberanes in the fog. Much different than when we hiked the loop back in March under a bright blue sky. Massey was on serious patrol the first time! She likes the views.

Massey loves to go for a run in Toro Park, mainly because she knows that it will generally be a long one. One of my favorite views in all of Monterey County is from the top of the infamous Sh*t Hill, right next to the 1,800' sign post marking Ollason Peak. On this lovely spring day a few months back, Massey liked the view, too.
